Pair of old Chinese cast iron Tang horse sculptures from Inner Mongolia made in the 1970s hence an uncommon item to find around. Copies of similar items have dwindled significantly over the years. Approx. dimensions 4 x 5 each. Approx. weight: 6 - 7 lbs. each. Can be used a bookends or ornaments. The patina is slightly different for each. Soon I will be selling more items from Inner Mongolia from a lot that I purchased in 2006 from a Chinese gentleman who came decades ago with $20 in his pocket, attended Harvard and become a business mogul. He was very involved in philanthropy and had set aside this lot I purchased exactly as it came from China. It was like finding a treasure kept in a time capsule probably since the mid 1970s. Once I sell this lot similar items in the same condition will be hard to come by. When searching for items like these search for Inner Mongolia as your keyword.
